Introduction to Arabic
This eight week course is designed to give you an introduction to
the Arabic language. This course was designed for people who have
had little or no Arabic experience. You will focus on participating in
simple, face-to-face conversations on familiar, everyday topics in
Arabic. You will practice reading short, simple paragraphs, also on
everyday topics. Each lesson will have an objective and the class
will decide whether the objective has been met using a task such as
grammar, vocabulary, cultural knowledge, and authentic materials.

SUPPLIES TO BRING: Pencils and the Introduction to Arabic book
titled: Book 1: Novice Low: Arabic Alphabet (AlFusha - Series to
teach Arabic as a foreign language to English speakers) by Ayman
Refaat. You can purchase the book on the first day of class with
$15 cash from the instructor, or search the name on the internet
to purchase online.
